POSITION:Special Education Teacher, Full-year substitute
LOCATION:Starpoint High School (.5) and Starpoint Middle School (.5)
EFFECTIVE DATES:November 2024 - June 2025
DESCRIPTION:Teacher will work with academic teams to provide support to students with disabilities.
The successful candidate will have:
Knowledge and background related to NYS learning standards
Experience with differentiating instruction for students with diverse academic challenges
The ability to meet students' social-emotional and academic needs
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desire to work collaboratively as part of an academic team
QUALIFICATIONS:NYS Certification - Students with Disabilities
COMPENSATION:Step 1 of Starpoint Teachers' Association agreement, health and dental insurance benefits provided
