Hours: primary 2p-10p, 3p-11p, 4p-12a, 11p-7a, secondary 7-3p, 8-4p, 10-6p, 11-7p, 12p-8p, on call and holiday and weekend rotation required may rotate to off site locations
Summary:
Assists in managing the CT Scan department's daily operations and provides computerized assisted tomographic services as ordered. All CT positions are considered multimodality, and will perform EKG's. All positions will rotate to x-ray within other modalities as needed. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. Position may include multisite rotations.
Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
Current NYS Driver's License is required
Paygrade 10B - until fully trained in CT and has fulfilled training qualifications as determined by the department Manager/Supervisor
Current NYS License in Radiologic Technology required
Current NYS Intravenous contrast administration certificate required within 30 days of hire
BLS Required within 30 days of hire
Within 12 months Post-Hire:Associate must obtaining their Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists - Computed Tomography Registry (ARRT) (CT)
Completion of "Basic Cardiac Rhythms for Technicians" course required within 3 months of hire
Employees who float to other departments must possess the competencies/certifications and minimum requirements of that job classification.
EXPERIENCE
One (1) to two (2) years CT Scan experience preferred
EKG/ECG training may be done on the job
