Hourly pay range $32-$35. MUST have own tools.

Position Summary

Builds, repairs, and maintains forms used in the precast concrete process. This includes but is not limited to inspecting the forms, making repairs as needed and/or modifying forms to meet production needs.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Maintains a clean, organized, safe work area at all times.

  • Assists in performing preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment.

  • Inspects forms to locate areas with low or high spots to ensure proper stripping. Maintains and repairs catwalks and ladders to OSHA standards. Welds parts to equipment during repairs or installations as needed. May assist in fabrication of new forms as products are developed.

  • Utilizes a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform preventative maintenance and/or repairs to equipment or machinery. Uses welding and metal finishing techniques to repair defects on core and jackets. Assists with form changeovers and/or modifications as needed.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated manufacturing or construction experience. Other desired qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years.

  • Ability to interpret drawings for final assemblies.

  • Knowledge of best tools to use for specific purpose.

  • Knows how to set up a welding machine and monitor quality of work.
