Industrial Engineer for Livonia, MI:

Create work instructions / SOP and prepare Bill of Material List. Create material demand on the system & Consolidate Tool List. Conduct Time Studies and Plan for Material Delivery. Meeting customer Engineering team to define the part numbers that need to be changed. Supporting to put together a BOM of the parts needed for rework for AG & CE. Responsible to ensure that demand is entered into our MRP system to order the parts. And to track the delivery of the components. Work for customer materials and warehouse to have the parts picked and deliver as needed. Complete initial machine inspection prior to rework and document any issues, part shortages, etc. Working with 3^rd^ party vendors doing the rework of AG & CE as required. Supporting to gather information needed to supply to vendors for rework (Work Instructions, special tools, etc.). Work with software updates and engine data sets. Work with rework vendors and Customer personnel to answer questions concerning the rework activities. Supporting for customer Product Validation and Commercial to understand the status, availability and required completion date. Taking care of complete final inspection, signoff, release for sale, etc. of machines once rework is complete. Conduct Time Study and improve process efficiencies. Present weekly rework status meetings with cross functional customer team members.

Master's degree in industrial engineering with two years' experience required, foreign equivalent accepted. Must be willing to travel or relocate to unanticipated location in future if required.
