KTX America, Inc. Engineering and Sales Director in Livonia, Michigan
- Work directly with customers in the automotive and aerospace industry to resolve product material/design concerns and quality issues with KTX's tooling products manufactured using KTX's unique and special electroplating technology. Solve practical problems and quality concerns encountered by customers while using KTX's tooling products. Meet with customers to review the manufacturing feasibility of parts made with KTX tooling that are used for vehicle interior components (interior dashboards, door panels, console lids, glove boxes, seat backs) utilizing knowledge of the chemical components of plastic parts and processing. Determine product feasibility and recommend changes to designs and materials. Use simulation software and special processing techniques to analyze and determine the feasibility of parts production. Recommend changes to designs and materials as necessary. Provide advice to customers on technical and logistics issues. Implement the use of living documents to resolve open issues within the deadlines. Coordinate timing issues of programs between the manufacturer and the tool supplier. Provide technical expertise on the Female Vacuum Thermoforming process and support customers in North America, South America, and Europe in the future. Examine technical design issues, tooling delivery and timing issues and coordinate with KTX Japan's Engineering (Technical Support and CAD Group) and Manufacturing (Modeling, Electroplating and Fabrication) divisions to improve part of the tool build process. Work from home option available. Salary range $145,434$150,000.
