Certified Surgical Technologist

Department: Operating Room

Location: Trinity Health Livonia

Minimum rate of pay: $25.34 PLUS DailyPAY

Position Purpose:

Surgical Technologists are responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in the field of Operating Room technology to Neonates, Child and Adolescents and Adults and Geriatrics.

Shifts Available: Rotating day shift (8:00am-4:30pm/10:30am-8:00 PM)

Status available: Full-time, Part-time, Contingent

Weekend, Holiday, and 30-minute on-call rotation required.

Required Qualifications:

Education

· Completion of an associate degree in Surgical Technology and active certification as a Surgical Tech OR two (2) years of surgical technologist experience and active certification as a surgical technologist.

Certification

· Certification as a Surgical Technologist required, must be obtained within 6 months of hire if the candidate has recently completed a Surgical Technologist program.

Experience

· No experience required if actively Certified as a Surgical Technologist, if not Certified must be able to provide proof of eligible to complete Certification exam and obtain within 6 months of hire.
