Info Services, LLC Automation Engineer (Ref# AE814NG) -- multiple openings in Livonia, Michigan
Info Services, LLC has multiple openings for the position of Automation Engineer (Ref# AE814NG) to work in Livonia, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Job Duties: Write effective manual and automated test cases and automated test frameworks as per the business requirements. Perform software defect tracking and regression for identified software release. Assist in planning, analyzing, designing, developing, and executing test cases relative to manual testing, automation testing tools, and methodologies. Involved in test-related technical support and project management within a Kanban team. Provide support in methodology selection, project planning, and review of work products. Provide guidance to junior test engineers. Analyze and understand each product's environment, architecture, and interdependencies to determine and apply appropriate test methodologies and cases relative to the applications being tested. Use appropriate quality control tools to uncover defects and discover the state of the code. Analyze and record test results and defects. Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights. Participate in Agile methodologies ceremonies (story refinements, daily stand-up, release retrospectives and planning). Use of Java, Selenium, SoapUI, SQL, XML, Power BI, Informatica, SSIS, Oracle, SQL Server, and Azure. Travel and/or relocation required.
Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Test Engineer, Software Engineer, or related experience. Will accept 3 years of post-secondary education in any field of study and 5 years of related experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Position requires 2 years of experience with Java and Selenium. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
