The Assembler II role will perform basic assembly and installation duties. The role will assist and learn from a Senior Assembler. The Assembler II will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As an Assembler II, you will be responsible for:
Training with a Senior Assembler to assemble products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
Supporting vehicle and material movement in and around facility
Following the electronic build book for assembly instructions
Cleaning and preparing components and vehicles for production
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Following established safety procedures
Learning and performing assigned production procedures to support vehicle and product production
Performing work on vehicle systems
Performing fabrication duties to include grinding, cutting, and drilling using fixtures and templates
To be considered an Assembler II, you will need:
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of automotive experience
Ability to work independently while following specific work instructions
Understand and exhibit the proper use of calibrated torque tools
Proficiency with computer usage
Ability to learn and follow written instructions
Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
Ability to use power tools
Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Possess basic mechanic tools
Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance
A successful candidate may also have:
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
Participated in high school automotive shop coursework
Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
