Robert Half is actively searching for a skilled Accounts Receivable Accountant to enhance an awesome client's finance team in Novi, MI. Responsibilities

• Invoice Management: Timely and accurate invoice generation and distribution. Ensure compliance with legal and company standards.

• Receivables Oversight: Monitor customer balances, manage collections, and maintain precise records.

• Cash Handling: Efficiently apply and reconcile incoming payments to maintain accurate account balances.

• Credit Control: Assess client creditworthiness, oversee collections, and handle negotiations as necessary.

• Financial Reporting: Generate detailed reports on receivables status and provide actionable insights to management.

• Audit Preparation: Ready accounts for audits and handle related queries.

• Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring responsive and professional communication.

• Regulatory Compliance: Uphold strict adherence to accounting policies and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Associate and/or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and work both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of credit evaluation and collections procedures is a plus.
