JOB SUMMARY:
The Concierge is knowledgeable and supportive of the mission of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System and specifically the Ambulatory Care Center. The Concierge acts as an ambassador of the Ambulatory Care Center providing information, directions and special assistance to patient and visitors. The Concierge provides a channel for patients to voice problems and concerns. As the patient s advocate the Concierge enables patients to obtain solutions to problems coordinating with staff from other departments as needed. Concierges use an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient s age specific needs and provide age specific treatments.
EDUCATION:
- High School education required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Customer service training and experience.
This position will require some Saturday shifts.
Successful completion of orientation programs.
