To further consolidate and strengthen our wind turbine service and maintenance teams in the UK, based at our Whitelee, Black Law and Clachan Flats windfarms. We are looking for qualified and committed Preventative Maintenance Technicians.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in an industrial, commercial or heavy industry environment. Wind turbine experience is not essential.

  • Be familiar with the application and use of a safe system of work.

  • Ability to understand and follow technical documentation and verbal instruction.

  • Ability to be part of a team working at height to perform servicing activities. throughout the UK and further when necessary.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of maintenance checklists, de-briefing hours and materials.

  • Ability to work away from home when business dictates.

  • Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site

  • Willing to work shift patterns and fulfil on-call obligations for out of normal working hours if required. E.g. Weekend working on a team rotation basis

Qualifications/Requirements :

  • Professional training in mechanical/electrical engineering sector (SVQ/NVQ Level 3 Preferable).

  • Familiar with MS-Office operating system.

  • High degree of quality awareness.

  • Team player, cooperative, interested in further personal and career development.

  • Confident personality.

  • Able to work at heights.

  • Structured worker with technical analytical abilities.

  • High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.

  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK.
