As a result of continued growth, we are looking to hire aFire Alarm Technician in our Liverpool, NY branch. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire detection systems, as well as monitoring these systems to ensure they’re functioning properly at all times.

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will:

  • Test, inspect and service fire alarm systems.

  • Identify & troubleshoot fire alarm deficiencies.

  • Cover on-call hours for servicing customers, including nights and weekends on a rotating basis.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Microsoft Office programs, ZEUS

  • Familiarity with SDU software a plus

  • Travel between customer sites daily

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Low Voltage License

  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Depending on the customer site, noise level could be quiet (as in a library or public office) or moderate (as in a business office with computers and light traffic)

  • Ability to withstand heights and climb ladders comfortably.

Starting Pay Rate: $24-$38 per hour
