Job Overview
Reports to:Service Manager, Hard Rock Distribution
Shift:5x2, 8 hours per day
Location: Sudbury, ON
Relocation:This position may be eligible for relocation.
Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, and service underground mining equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts and components at customer locations
Build strong working relationships with relevant co-workers
Participate in and be committed to a strong safety culture to achieve Komatsu's organizational Safety, Health, and Environmental goals
Comply with Komatsu company policies and procedures
Qualifications/Requirements
Valid Driver’s License required
Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician, 421A license required
Ability to travel and work overtime as needed
Previous experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Detail-oriented and have a high level of accuracy
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Qualified candidates will have strong work ethic
Experience in previous field service environments is an asset
Able to demonstrate aptitude for problem-solving
Self-motivated, can multi-task and manage change in responsibilities
Results-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team
Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work shift work from time to time
