Department Summary

Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Development organization is building the country’s first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless seeks a Sourcing Manager to lead competitive sourcing of goods and services. The role involves collaborating with department leaders, negotiating, prioritizing initiatives, and managing the Supply Chain. Responsibilities include overseeing Contract Management, New Product Introduction, Purchasing, Category Management, and Data Analytics. The Sourcing Manager will support Strategic Sourcing for the 5G network and establish procurement standards and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Negotiate and source goods, software, and services, managing RFx and supplier contracts.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities focusing on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

  • Develop and implement enterprise-level contract management strategy.

  • Establish contract administration policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support sourcing needs.

  • Manage vendor relationships and develop value-creation strategies.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, contract negotiation, and business analysis

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in the Wireless industry preferred

  • Knowledgeable in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing principles and practices

  • Demonstrated success in driving procurement savings and building cross-functional partnerships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), database management, and Google Suite

  • Ability to independently conduct studies, analyze data, and make recommendations on complex projects

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $83,950.00/Year - $119,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
