Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform financial analysis of Retail Wireless Net Device Subsidy, supporting purchasing and pricing decisions around wireless devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact between Corporate FP&A team and the Retail Wireless Finance organization for questions regarding Net Subsidy calculations

  • Perform retail wireless financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metric tracking on a weekly/monthly basis with respect to all Net Subsidy GL accounts

  • Support the creation of and the reporting process for the annual Retail Wireless budget with respect to Net Subsidy

  • Maintain a strong working relationship with Accounting and the business, and play a key role in the month/quarter/year end process

  • Analyze and interpret financial data and communicate explanations and recommendations to company leadership; develop understanding of key drivers of results

  • Utilize your creativity to develop outside-of-the-box solutions

  • Produce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for the business

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis related to cost-savings opportunities and other corporate initiatives

  • Acts as steward of financial accuracy and data integrity

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA is a plus but not required

  • 3 to 5 years of financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting experience

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)

  • Results-driven and able to strike the right balance between detail orientation and grasping the big picture

  • Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced dynamic environment

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling experience is preferred

  • Proficiency with financial tools (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, and OneStream)

  • Great work ethic and willingness to learn about new concepts and different cultures

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
