Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless is seeking a skilled RF Engineer I to bolster our national team. In this role, you'll directly report to the National Senior RF Engineering Manager, collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams across the market. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimization and efficiency of our wireless network infrastructure nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Work on RF design for DISH's groundbreaking standalone 5G network
Conduct Monte Carlo analysis to optimize network capacity
Understand equipment and power configurations
Collaborate with RF Management to refine design criteria and traffic analysis
Develop Macros and scripts for automation
Utilize Python, Java, and PowerShell for custom solutions
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master's preferred)
1+ years of LTE RF Design experience in the wireless industry
Skills and Qualifications:
Familiarity with propagation/planning tools like Planet or Atoll
Experienced in drive test data post-processing and site database maintenance
Proficient in 3G/4G/5G technologies with expertise in NR theory and O-RAN Architecture
Strong teamwork, communication, documentation skills, and ability to write and maintain MOPs
Python, Java, and PowerShell preferred

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $118,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
