The Laborer is responsible for providing the physical labor required to maintain a project in a proper, efficient, and safe manner. MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $2 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power generation facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; buildings, and infrastructure. Location & Travel Details: This is a location-based position encompassing worksites throughout the assigned project area and requires an average of 90% of travel. Responsibilities

General Labor including shoveling, raking, unload materials, and housekeeping. Assisting skilled tradesman when required including working with a pipe or concrete crew. Complete tasks in the manner instructed by the project superintendent or foreman. Observe all safety practices as directed by the company, superintendent, foreman, and OSHA. Notify Superintendent of all unsafe practices. Utilize all PPE and report all injuries or potential hazards to the project superintendent or foreman immediately. Use, operate, and maintain all job site equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner. Participate in daily and weekly safety activities to support the project in positively advancing the work. Report to the assigned project at the scheduled time. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications: General understanding of subcontractors' scope of work General expereince working as a Laborer on construction sites. Knowledge Skills & Abilities Ability to perform various physical tasks such as shoveling, hammering, kneeling, lifting, and carrying. Ability to regularly uneven soil conditions. Ability to repeatedly lift/pull/push/30+ pounds. Knowledge of proper lifting techniques, tool/equipment use.
