Required Skills:

Product Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products and platforms.

  2. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products.

  3. Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers.

  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones.

  5. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction.

  6. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

  7. Identify and track key performance metrics.

  8. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

  9. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  10. Telecommuting is permitted from anywhere in the US.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Requires 24 months of experience in the following:

    1. Product development or product design
    1. Technical architecture of complex and highly scalable web applications or media products
    1. Designing simple and intuitive user interfaces
    1. Creating examples through wire frames and mock ups
    1. Developing social products, technologies, or platforms
    1. Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team
    1. Delivering technical presentations
    1. Analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data
    1. Gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution
    1. Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design

Public Compensation:

$205,746/year to $232,100/year + bonus + equity + benefits
