We are currently seeking an Industrial Hygiene Intern or Junior Technician to join our growing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in Little Rock. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in the field of industrial hygiene, while working alongside experienced professionals. The role will involve supporting the evaluation and control of environmental factors that may impact the health and safety of workers and the public.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Assist senior industrial hygienists in conducting field assessments, air monitoring, noise surveys, and other environmental assessments at client facilities.
- Support the collection of samples (air, water, surface) for laboratory analysis to assess potential health hazards such as chemical exposure, asbestos, mold, or particulates.
- Help evaluate workplace environments to identify potential hazards and determine appropriate control methods.
- Assist with data entry, analysis, and preparation of technical reports for clients and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain and calibrate industrial hygiene equipment to ensure proper operation for fieldwork.
- Work alongside experienced team members to learn and apply regulatory standards, including OSHA, NIOSH, and EPA guidelines.
- Provide general support for the industrial hygiene team during site inspections, safety meetings, and compliance audits.
- Contribute to internal safety initiatives and help implement best practices for health and safety within client operations.
What you will bring to the team:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of industrial hygiene principles, occupational safety regulations, or exposure assessment is preferred.
- Strong interest in environmental health and safety, with a desire to learn and gain practical experience in the field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel to various client sites as needed (local and regional travel).
