Robert Half Call Center Specialist in Little Rock, Arkansas

Description We are in the market for a Call Center Specialist for our Financial Services team based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and is integral to providing excellent customer service and maintaining customer satisfaction. As a Call Center Specialist, you will be handling customer inquiries, updating customer accounts, and ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls in a timely and professional manner, adhering to established scripts and protocols.

• Actively listen to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests, and provide accurate and timely responses or solutions.

• Assist customers with a variety of banking-related inquiries, including account balances, transactions, product information, and account maintenance.

• Update customer accounts efficiently and accurately, such as address changes and card replacements.

• Identify opportunities to promote banking products and services to meet customer needs and enhance their banking experience.

• Simultaneously navigate and utilize multiple computer applications and systems to access customer information, input data, and process transactions.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions with customers to ensure a positive experience.

• Collaborate with other team members and departments to escalate complex issues or unresolved inquiries for further investigation and resolution.

• Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and security protocols to safeguard customer information and maintain data integrity.

• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current on banking products, procedures, and industry trends. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in the financial services industry.

• Proficiency in operating a multi-line phone system.

• Proven ability to handle high volume calls in a call center environment.

• Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Proficiency in using computer software including MS Office Suite.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to assist customers with their inquiries.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in a call center or customer service role preferred.

• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be considered a plus.
