We are immediately hiring an Administrative Assistant II to be a part of the Environmental Services team. The Executive Assistant manages and performs all duties necessary to enhance and maintain the office of VP/Administrator and the department, providing back-up support to other Executive Team members, as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains department files for active and terminated employees, including periodic purging.

  • Performs secretarial duties for Director and others, as required, using correct English grammar, punctuation and composition in the preparation of correspondence, reports, statements and minutes.

  • Maintains appointment calendar by arranging appointments and monitoring cancellations and changes for Director and others.

  • Screens incoming calls, directs callers to appropriate others, and informs the Manager of matters requiring immediate attention.

  • Arranges personal obligations/appointments in consideration of office coverage and workload.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Two to three (2-3) years progressively responsible experience in an administrative role requiring broad range of secretarial experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

  • Five (5) years of experience supporting executive leadership in a hospital or healthcare environment including medical directors (physicians / surgeons), and medical boards

Pay Range

$15.88 - $21.83 /hour
