Description We are in search of a Payroll Clerk to join our team located in Little Canada, Minnesota, United States. This role is pivotal in our industry, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of weekly payroll, managing union payroll, and ensuring compliance with prevailing wage requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for timekeeping, data reconciliations, and conducting payroll audits and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Handle weekly payroll processing efficiently and accurately.

• Oversee union payroll management, ensuring all regulations and procedures are followed.

• Carry out certified payroll reporting, adhering to all relevant guidelines and standards.

• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage regulations.

• Execute timekeeping duties and data reconciliations to maintain accurate records.

• Manage employee deductions, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Conduct regular payroll audits to identify any errors or discrepancies.

• Generate accurate and comprehensive payroll reports.

• Use payroll software to process payroll and manage records.

• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Requirements • Proficiency in 'About Time' software

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Auditing skills

• Understanding of Benefit Functions

• Familiarity with In-House Payroll

• Experience in handling Weekly Payroll

• Knowledge of Payroll - Garnishments

• Understanding of Payroll - Union

• Proficiency in using Payroll software

• Knowledge of Payroll Taxes

• Experience in Processing Payroll
