job summary:
Job Description:
Collaborate with engineers to bring solutions from concept to reality.
Work with teams to integrate conveyor control solutions, automated material handling equipment, and autonomous vehicles.
Create and maintain electrical schematic drawings.
Develop and debug control system software in ladder logic and structured text.
Provide technical expertise in controls and electrical engineering.
Perform on-site commissioning support and electrical field wiring as needed.
Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering and PLC programming.
Proficiency in Ladder Logic and Structured Text programming languages.
Experience with PLC Programming on Rockwell Platforms Studio 5000/RSLogix5000.
Preferably experienced in programming material handling systems like conveyors and sorters.
Skilled in schematic design using AutoCAD.
Ability to assist during equipment commissioning with wiring and installation.
Familiar with commissioning VFDs, PLCs, and barcode scanners, and establishing communications via Ethernet IP, DeviceNet, and Profibus protocols.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controls Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering and PLC programming.
Travel:
- Up to 30-40% travel required.
