This role offers a flexible schedule, NO weekends and plays a huge role in your local community! Job Summary: Assist the Head Cook in preparing and serving in bulk community and home-delivered meals that meet our required meal pattern as well as follow the menu and recipes planned by the registered dietician. Meals will be pleasing in both taste and appearance. Meal preparation and clean-up will follow food code regulations. Qualifications and Requirements: A minimum of one year or full-time equivalent experience in a full-service kitchen in a healthcare facility, school, or restaurant. of acknowledge cooking: the ability to follow standardized recipes and convert measurements to accommodate the number of meals needed. Knowledge of all kitchen equipment and utensils usage. Knowledge of Health Department regulations. Ability to follow written and oral instructions as well as train, supervise, and direct site staff and volunteers.
