POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for managing entire maintenance team on all shifts and is responsible for all maintenance activities within the facility. Position is responsible for purchasing and evaluating repair of equipment along with maintaining department procedures according to the plant policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PM System- oversee inputting of machinery, creation of PM schedules, etc. Research and Development of parts and equipment Maintain maintenance crib Work closely with vendors to purchase best quality parts at the best price Maintain keys and security records File and maintain Maintenance PM records. Maintain database for the "Asset Management Program" Assist the teams with the scheduling of top maint action lists and completing T-cards. Must be able to manage entire maintenance staff on all shifts. Help chart the Maintenance measurables for KPI tracking Lead the Maintenance and Set-Up teams with Lean principles, Quick Change Technology, Total Predictive Maintenance, Cell Design, and 5S. Must drive standardization and oversee plant improvement opportunities. Employee must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality, productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions. Overtime as required/requested.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Asset Management (Asset tracking and record keeping) Maintain records for standardization of parts Help maintain maintenance library (manuals/prints) (This list may not be all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

CRITICAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in applicable field preferred Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience Knowledge and understanding of OSHA guidelines Must be able to troubleshoot machinery Must have proficient blueprint reading skills Must be able to read electrical schematics and hydraulic prints

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, computers, telephones, desks, temperature controlled. Manufacturing environment - includes, but not limited to, artificial lighting, machine/equipment noise, some welding exhaust, non-controlled temperatures, and PPE required. Infrequent travel which could include an overnight stay. Being available for 24-hour demand, including weekends, based on production and customer need

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to move about the plant in both the office and manufacturing areas. Ability to travel occasionally. Manual dexterity for computer work. Ability to communicate in an effective manner. Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
