Network and ERP Analyst

Role Overview

Leeco Steel is seeking to hire a dynamic individual who can fill a divided role of Network and ERP Analyst. Your duties will be split between providing support to our network team and providing support to our ERP and data team. Network support responsibilities will include analyzing network performance, providing network and security support, and performing system maintenance tasks. ERP responsibilities will include recommending sound business solutions leveraging our ERP functionality, drafting best practice policies and procedures, evaluating ERP functionality to address existing business gaps as well as designing, testing, and documentation implemented ERP solutions. You will also be involved in directing system testing and validation procedures and working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance. To be successful in this role, you will need to be well organized, possess strong analytical and project management skills, understand network and ERP systems, and value working in a team environment. A bachelor's degree in computer science, business or related field, or equivalent experience, is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the ongoing maintenance and implementation of modules ERP.

  • Customize and configure workflows to facilitate ERP integration with other applications.

  • Investigate and propose solutions to address existing business process gaps and inefficiencies.

  • Conduct functional and performance testing.

  • Review new releases of packaged software and evaluate new feature suability and value.

  • Provide network support to resolve connectivity, performance and/or security issues.

  • Assists in setting up and maintaining computer networks, permissions and related equipment.

  • Maintain Windows desktop operating system patches.

  • Keep up with advancements in network technologies and solutions.

  • Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.

  • Prepare technical documentation, including test results, policies and work instructions.

  • Participate in scope of work estimation and forecasting.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify functional and non-functional requirements to produce SOWs.

  • Adhere to established development practices and processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience with Azure Virtual Networks.

  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL).

  • Experience with Dynamics Great Plains ERP system is strongly preferred.

  • Understanding of and proven ability to manage project lifecycles.

  • Proven ability to solve complex business problems.

  • Ability to work both independently and on a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent applied experience).

  • Experience working with network systems and ERP’s (Dynamics Great Plains preferred) for 3+ years
