The Opportunity

As a Storage Analyst, you will be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge storage systems that cater to the dynamic needs of our clients. Your expertise in storage technologies and infrastructure design will be crucial in ensuring seamless data availability, peak performance, and robust data security.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Collaborate Globally: Work with a diverse, global team to administer, support, and maintain WTW’s Fileshare, NetApp NAS, PureStorage SAN, and fiber channel networked systems across WTW’s data centers and office locations.

  • Inventory and Configuration Management: Oversee inventory, standard configurations, maintenance details, capacity, performance, and system alerts from storage and SAN network devices, utilizing automated integration routines in a Service Management ITIL process configuration.

  • KPI Reporting: Continuously improve storage service KPI reporting criteria, adapting to evolving business needs.

  • Incident and Problem Management: Manage and resolve storage service problems and incidents globally using WTW’s service management system.

  • Disaster Recovery: Maintain and enhance existing disaster recovery plans and protocols for data storage systems. Support both planned and unplanned disaster recovery events involving data storage services.

  • Service Improvement: Identify and advocate for opportunities to enhance storage services, optimize configurations, and reduce operating costs.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert knowledge and capabilities in data storage, supporting program workstreams involving data consolidation, migrations, or divestitures/acquisitions.

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our storage solutions, driving innovation, and ensuring our clients' data is always available, secure, and efficiently managed.

What You’ll Bring

You are the person that we are looking for if you have:

  • 2-5 years of experience managing NAS and SAN data storage arrays in an enterprise setting. Experience in highly regulated environments is a plus.

  • Industry certifications or demonstrable experience in managing data storage systems, including FC zoning and array volume management.

  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation using PowerShell and Python scripting in a CI/CD environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global team.
