J&J Family of Companies Market Access Specialist in Lisbon, Portugal

Contributes, designs, develops and implements a coordinated approach to all aspects of the payer value proposition from early development through and beyond loss of exclusivity.

Elaborate the local access strategy & plan and prepare all the documents necessary for the local submission for reimbursement and funding. Monitor and follow of the evaluation of the process within Health Authorities, anticipate questions and elements requests and prepare answers upfront.

Communicates the outstanding attributes of the therapeutic area drugs/medical devices to external multi-stakeholders to guarantee the drug's/device's value proposition will be recognized and improve market uptake. Works collectively with payers, including HTA, reimbursement influencers and other decision makers to ensure the continuous changing reimbursement systems remain fair to all involved parties. Develops strategic studies with the end-customer in mind to ensure that the results will favorably impact pricing, reimbursement and market access as well as market uptake. Participate /Conduct quantitative, qualitative pricing research and Burden of disease studies. Actively work on the publications' potential on publications and/or congresses. Work very closely with the Core Value Team and Account Management on the product value. Works with Health Economics/Outcomes Research craft in pricing strategy. Considered specialist in field within the organization. Develops solutions to sophisticated problems which require the regular use of resourcefulness, innovation and out of the box solution. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.

Qualifications

Education:

University degree, post graduation on the area Experience and Skills:

  • Advance English & Portuguese skills

  • Health Economics skills and experience (minimal 3 years)

  • Experience with HTA Authorities

  • Market knowledge

    Travel percentage – 10% national or international
