About the role
Our Digital Technology (DT) EHS team, composed of 8 people, is integrated in the Digital Technology department and focuses on EHS& Sustainability applications in collaboration with Functions and GBUs.
As a DT EHS Specialist, you will lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP EHS solutions, with a particular focus on Product Safety and Industrial Hygiene functionalities. As a key player in our team, you will contribute to ensuring business continuity and expanding our portfolio solutions to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
You will be accountable for:
Provide support and maintenance for SAP EHS applications, including troubleshooting technical issues, mentoring the support team in resolving moderate complexity tickets, and resolving complex incident or evolution tickets to minimize system disruptions.
Project Implementation: Lead a full project implementation focused on Product Safety and Industrial Hygiene, working as any of the roles:
as EHS Specialist: Leasing design workshops, working on the Gaps for the realization phase, preparing and organizing test sessions, preparing the deployment, training and providing support for Hypercare.
as a Project Manager: on all phases of the project, preparing Workload and cost estimation, managing the resources, tasks, planning, communications, cost follow-up, organizing Steering-Committees, etc.
Configure and customize SAP EHS modules for Product Safety and Industrial Hygiene to align with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Develop and deliver training programs for end-users to foster effective use and adoption of SAP EHS solutions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as the Hazard Communication Team, Product Stewards, and Industrial Hygiene Specialists, to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business and compliance needs. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Project Managers, Logistics, Manufacturing, and IT Infrastructure, to ensure smooth integration of SAP EHS solutions and minimize impacts on other business functions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging user feedback and system performance data to suggest enhancements and optimize existing processes.

About you
Relevant education degree or equivalent in Information Technology or similar areas on EHS processes.
At least 5 years of experience in IT with SAP EHS implementation projects and support.
Competencies:
Proficiency as IT Specialist on SAP EH&S modules (e.g., SAP Environment Management, SAP Safety Management) with a strong balance of functional and technical skills for system customization and configuration.:
Product Safety:
SDS Authoring and SDS Report generation: experience with customizing on SPRO and developing on WWI templates, writing specifications, and conducting IT testing, WWI servers, Document Management System using specific Repository/Storage system.
Specialist Rules and SDS Distribution: Ability to manage Specialist rules and the distribution of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Dangerous Goods - Customizing DG Checks, analysing DG data to print on some Logistic documents.
PCN (Poison Center Notification) - Strong understanding of compliance requirements and implementation of PCN, including interface additional applications for connecting with ECHA system.
SVHC (Substance of Very High Concern) and SVT (Substance Volume & Tracking) - Experience in tracking and managing substance volumes, with strong knowledge on BW or other Data analytic interfaces.
3E ERC Package implementation - Skilled in overseeing the implementation of the quarterly regulatory content upgrade, including task management, resource allocation, technical planning, and communication.
Industrial Hygiene
Specific skills:
Write specifications to the ABAP/WWI developer.
Customization in SPRO for EHS.
Use Solman to Transport Change orders.

About the pay and benefits
Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 44,880 EUR to 56,100 EUR Annual Base, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
