SUMMARY OF ROLE

Support the Sales Organization with all Customer related tasks, such as Quote Generation, Quote Follow Up, pro-active desk-selling, order clarification. Be first contact for customer calls. Maintain close cooperation with Back Offices, Factories, Product Managers and Field Sales Engineers.

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking the Project Pursuit on complex Project Proposals (all KOB) in compliance with the given PMO guidelines

• Continuously improvement and maintenance of Project Proposal Template

• Leverage task like EET, cabinet design/calculation, drawing of system architecture to the team in Cluj and Pune.

• Actively communication (virtual as well as f2f) with existing customers for offer consulting and proposal review

• Maintains close relationship with product managers, Operations, Field Sales Engineers and Back Offices

• Internal follow up of Project Proposal Status

• Determination of priorities in consultation with Project Proposal Lead and Field Sales Engineers

• Clarifies technical and commercial details with customers and prepare orders for order entry

• Hands over a qualified bill of material for buy-outs to the purchasing departments

• Processes buyout proposals from purchasing department Creates proposal calculations by using divisional tools

• Supports DoA-Extension applications from Divisions

• Prepares proposal documentation and handover proposals to sales/customers

• Reports regularly to the Customer Care Supervisor on customer requirements, competition and market trends

• Actively keeps up to date a complete profile of the customer organization (customer database, e. g. CRM and OCM)

• Optimizes communication with customers using telephone, e-mail, etc.

• Conducts Follow ups on open Quotes pro-actively

• Maintains close relationship with product managers and other country organizations

• Observes Trade Compliance according to the level and procedures described in ECME49

• Respects Business Ethics stipulated by Emerson

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Higher technical degree or comparable technical education

• 10+ years’ experience in the process control industry,

• Fluent in English Language

• MS Office

• Willingness to work in a team and with remote organizations
