Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Change Management professional to join our team reporting directly to the Sector Tactical Deployment Manager within the Mission Systems (MS) Digital Transformation Office (DTO). As a Sr. Principal Change Management Technical lead, you will play a pivotal role in our Digital Transformation Solution readiness and deployment across MS divisions in support of our sector operations. Your responsibilities will include driving recurring organizational change management initiatives and serving as a critical partner with Enterprise and other Sector change management teams during multi-sector, divisional deployments.

This position can be performed onsite full-time or in a hybrid capacity (for local candidates) from Linthicum, MD , or it can be performed remotely (100%).

What You'll Get to Do:

Responsibilities include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Lead and coordinate sector change management activities for the MS DTO organization, ensuring clarity and consistency across Sector.

  • Strategically guide recurring change management initiatives, collaborating with business portfolio leads and sector deployment team to refine communications and training documentation.

  • Work closely with enterprise change management teams during process implementation, fostering seamless partnerships to uphold alignment with enterprise change management strategy and plans.

  • Support Staff meetings including meeting facilitation, chart compilation, and action item tracking.

  • Scheduling and promoting engagement activities including end-user collaborations.

  • Foster relationships between other sector leads, ensuring unified messaging and consistent change management approaches.

  • Smooth transition of change management initiatives into sustainment, post-project implementation, nurturing ongoing support and synergy with organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of relevant experience or Master’s Degree and 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of Change Management and/or Process Excellence experience with the focus on large-scale transformational, technical, and/or process change.

  • High-energy strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to operate and communicate at both a strategic and hands-on level as needed.

  • Proven experience prioritizing and completing multiple tasks within critical deadlines.

  • Experience influencing and driving results without direct authority of personnel.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as analytical, planning, and presentation skills are required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project)

  • US Citizenship.

  • Current, active DoD Secret clearance within 4 years of last investigation/adjudication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • STEM related Bachelor's degree.

  • Ability to drive strategic change initiatives to align with Digital Transformation objectives and foster innovation.

  • Experience working across different departments or disciplines, understanding various operational needs and constraints.

  • Ability to inspire and motivates others to achieve the organization's vision, fostering collaboration and constructive conflict resolution.

  • Ability to constructively resolve conflicts as differing priorities and opinions could impact project outcomes.

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and understanding tactics and processes involved in change management.

  • Ability to approach complex issues systematically, using analytical skills to weigh options and forecast potential outcomes.

Salary Range: $121,000 - $190,600

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
