Production Planning Specialist in Lincoln, NE
This is an ENTRY LEVEL position, with the opportunity to grow and work up within the organization
100% on site, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
Review daily production schedule to ensure production deadlines are met
Process daily inventory adjustments: cycle, counts, scrap transaction, etc.
Tracking of incoming freight and containers
Candidate will work closely & communicate regularly with all areas regarding engineering changes and part shortages
Candidate will work closely with team members regarding new model builds, incoming and outgoing shipments, and inventory cleanup once projects are completed
Creating and maintaining spreadsheets - Excel
Strong problem solving skills, to find the root cause of issues & taking actions to make improvements
Looking for a motivated SELF STARTER

Skills & Qualifications:
STRONGLY PREFERRED: At least 2 years experience in scheduling and/or planning
STRONGLY PREFERRED: Experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficient with computers - Access Database, AS400, SAP, EXCEL pivot tables
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions
Strong problem solving / Ability to solve problems immediately
Ability to handle multiple tasks, while addressing issues and being sensitive to time constraints and resource availability
Must be comfortable with handing and confirming inventory delivery and shipments
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
