Maintenance Technician

Location : Lincoln, NE

Pay : $30/hour

Schedule : Monday Thru Friday, 8AM to 5PM & Occasional Saturdays

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and welding across all Ready Mixed plants. This role involves traveling between plants as needed, primarily focusing on stick welding and mechanical troubleshooting of equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting for plant equipment and related areas.

• Independently assess and perform repairs on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment.

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant through regular maintenance and inspections.

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and operational testing.

• Operate front-end loaders or forklifts as required.

• Implement and maintain Lockout/Tagout programs to ensure safety compliance.

• Utilize hand tools and test equipment to analyze and correct malfunctions.

• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• 1 year of stick welding experience.

• 2 years in a mechanic or maintenance position.

• 1+ year of experience working independently.

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to drive company vehicles.

• Ability to stoop, stand, and bend, comfortable working in outdoor elements.
