Summary:

The reason CED exists is to work with local manufacturers and those that support them to understand what it is they do, how they do it, and why they do it the way that they do. Then as those facilities want to be faster, safer, or more sustainable, it is our job to combine new technologies, expertise, systems, and services to help those manufacturers achieve their goals and make sure our partners are operating at a level to out produce their competition and the rest of the world.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree

• Current, valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on the trainee’s current segment of the training and will include warehouse, office and external environments. During some segments, activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office segments may include sitting for extended periods. Various segments will include some travel.

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

• Learning all aspects of the CED business

• Attending classes in various locations

• Communicating – both written and spoken – in English.
