Job Description

Summary: Responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to Accounting department. May be responsible for a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase in Accounting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Verify the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.

• Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other detailed records.

• May assist in processing invoices to pay vendors and receive payments from customers.

• Enter data and prepare a variety of reports.

• Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.

• Various general clerk duties such as filing, faxing, copying and collating.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED. 0-2 years of related clerical and/or administrative support experience in a similar position required.
