We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains in top condition. If you have experience in routine inspections, responding to maintenance requests, and working with a team to maintain a safe and efficient environment, we want to hear from you. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND COMPETENCIES

Under direct supervision, responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all mechanical, HVAC, Fire Protection, generators, and electrical equipment across Lincoln Electric Systems substations and office campuses in accordance with standards, policies, safety rules, procedures, and practices. This position will also be responsible for monitoring building automation and life safety systems. Performs emergency and overtime work as necessary. Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

  • Participates in the planning of maintenance programs and procedures.

  • Communicates and coordinates with LES personnel and external resources.

  • Under direct supervision, performs and coordinates maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R equipment, electrical systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supply units, generators, and other building systems.

  • Under direct supervision, troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits for all types of HVAC equipment.

  • Use desktop and laptop computers to access and operate control systems and related control devices. Maintain work logs, simple records, and prepare reports as needed.

  • Under direct supervision, assists in response to all types of emergency service requests to minimize damage by either repairing or shutting down mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, and Power Generating Equipment, resetting Life Safety Equipment and/or working with contractors.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and guidelines.

  • Knowledge of construction estimating practices and labor and material costs.

  • Knowledge of plumbing, electricity, mechanics, controls, sheet metal work, fire systems, stand-by emergency power, and water analysis and treatment as they apply to the operation, related preventative maintenance programs, and repair of mechanical equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • At least two years of related experience, or

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

  • Experience in mechanical maintenance of critical large-scale facilities (e.g., Data Centers, Pharma/Medical/Electrical installations) including maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supply systems, generators, and associated devices preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to obtain Refrigeration Handling certification within twelve months.

  • Underground Storage Tank Operator Class (A/B) or the ability to obtain within twelve months.
