What you'll do * Performs daily safety procedure audits and inspections as needed. * Assists in the delivery of the Contractor Safety Training. * Support PSM including PSI; PHA; MOC; auditing; Drawing Updates, MOC Doc, T/A Help * Assists with the development of HMIS signs and labeling. * Performs the annual respiratory protection program audit for the Safety Department. * Engage with field personnel to understand operational challenges, provide support, and reinforce a strong safety culture. * Foster positive and constructive interactions with field personnel to encourage reporting of safety concerns and ensure effective communication. * Performs other duties as assigned. Who you are * Available to begin work on January 6, 2025 * Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship for this role will not be provided. * As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required. * Previous experience is considered an asset. * Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education * Must be enrolled in a Chemical Engineering or Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term. * Candidates currently enrolled in either a master's or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered. * New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
