Description Delivery Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring deliveries and transfers of goods from our warehouse to internal and external customers. This position is responsible for loading, unloading, and assisting team members to load and unload goods that are delivered. Responsibilities of Position: Operates truck and performs job duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies. Performs deliveries to outlying locations and/or vendors. Completes proper documentation for internal and external customers. Conducts pre-trip/post trip inspections and completes logs. Maintains and updates drivers log sheets. (when required) Professional interaction with co-workers, internal and external customers. May assist in other projects or areas as needed. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills & Abilities Needed for Position: Ability to read and understand a map. Excellent truck driving/maneuvering skills. General knowledge of mechanics vehicles. Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers. Additional Working Conditions/Aspects: Must have at least a valid Class B CDL. Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire. Must be at least 19 years of age. No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years. Must not have any DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years. Possible exposure to high traffic conditions and/or tight driving areas. Ability to travel between offices, as required. Legally eligible to work in the United States. Valid driver's license (if applicable). Must successfully complete pre-employment testing. Must be able to read and speak the English language.
