Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • As a key contributor to our Finance & Accounting Operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing general accounting including recording journals, preparing reconciliations, policy applications across various financial cycles, including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, and intercompany transactions.

  • Your role involves understanding and interpreting GE GAAPs, SOPs, and Process Maps to deliver accounting services.

  • You will develop an in-depth understanding of your discipline, leveraging prior experience/ education to execute functional policies.

  • Collaboration is key, as you will partner with operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and sourcing teams to effectively communicate complex information.

Qualifications:

  • You should have experience in Finance & Accounting Operations, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree or/and relevant professional experience.

  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is an added advantage.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

  • Familiarity with interpreting and applying US GAAP, particularly in areas such as Revenue Recognition, Inventory, and Property Plant & Equipment, is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
