Your Role & Team in a Nutshell

As a Transport Analyst you will analyze transportation spend of outbound, inbound and intercompany freight, KPI and service level metrics. Your objective is to improve carrier’s efficiency, define and drive productivity initiatives.

We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate monthly transport costs over sales (outbound, intercompany) or standard costs of imported goods (inbound sea and air) to report, propose, and identify cost-saving projects. Utilising MS Excel and other internal tools ( Power BI ), developing and improving reports.

  • Build a European Cost to Service Analysis matrix/tool.

  • Help refine metrics - measure, monitor, and develop spend and performance reporting on an ongoing basis for Europe DCs, intercompany, air, inbound – CO2 reporting.

  • Run transportation analysis (cost/lead time/routes) for decision-making on deals and new business opportunities.

  • Prepare data to launch RFQs - analyse, present results, and make recommendations.

  • Assist the Finance team in accurately reporting transportation costs for monthly KPIs and budget, identifying gaps.

  • Monthly invoice checking and approval.

What You’ll Need

Minimum:

  • Proven experience in Distribution/Transportation environment

  • Good command of MS Office applications (inc. advanced Excel)

  • Fluent in English

  • Knowledge of Power BI or willingness to learn

Your advantage:

  • Good listening and teamwork skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail

  • Able to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated

  • Able to understand and demonstrate sense of urgency

  • Bachelor’s degree is an advantage

  • Knowledge of PKMS and SAP and any other WMS/ERP systems is a plus
