Job Title: Microbiology Lab TechnicianJob Description

This is a new position created to address a gap in the team. The role involves working closely with production to test all incoming raw materials and perform standard microbiology testings. The ideal candidate will be an expert in microbiology down the line and follow lab safety guidelines meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Follow lab safety guidelines.

• Work closely with production to test all incoming raw materials.

• Perform standard microbiology testings including the person, yeast, mold, identity testing, and FTIR.

• Maintain excellent documentation.

Essential Skills

• Experience with GMP.

• Microbiology testing experience including the person, yeast, mold, identity testing, and FTIR.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any sort of degree is preferred but not required, especially in Biology or related fields.

Work Environment

This position is for the 1st shift with a start time of 7:00/7:30 AM. The team is small, allowing for close collaboration with different departments. The company is growing and aims to expand its microbiology department. This role offers good work-life balance and the opportunity to train directly with an experienced lab manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00
