I am looking for an individual to monitor ocean/air inbound freight logistics, record and analyze data of these shipments. The primary responsibility of this role is ensuring dates are accurate and up to date for the in-warehouse availabiklity.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inbound shipments by keeping record of ETA and estimate in-warehouse date and update internal systems and manual trackers

• Reviews freight through email communications, external shipping portals, timing of containersexpected and adjusted dates accordingly, while maintaining bookings integrity to purchase orderrequirements

• Reviews role related invoices for approvals and disputes invoices as necessary

• Helps prioritize critical shipments, able to adapt to ever-changing priorities

• Monitors trends on ports with issues and creative ways to move the cargo, with demonstratedexperience on creating cost efficiencies with transportation activities

• Basic knowledge of HTS classifications

• Understanding of Freight Carrier contracts is a plus
