Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Scheduler Intern to join our team in the Lexington Park, Maryland. ManTech is supporting dozens of Naval Aviation customers with the processes to plan and efficiently execute critical acquisition related projects so that our government teams can deliver the solutions our warfighters need on-time!
Summer work that the Project Scheduler Intern will have the opportunity to support include, but are not limited to:
Successfully complete training courses related to project scheduling and project management principles.
Assist experienced schedulers with the development of project schedules in Microsoft Project and documentation of project assumptions.
Develop and update project artifacts using Microsoft Office applications.
Follow established processes to load contractor cost and schedule data into analysis tools, run diagnostics, and publish data outputs into a PowerPoint brief.
Develop trends and comparisons of analysis tool outputs and generate a list of questions regarding the root causes of any anomalies.
Present questions, findings, and assumptions of planning sessions or analysis to the project scheduler or team stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pursuing a bachelors degree in Business, business management, or other majors WITH completed college courses in statistics, business, or management.
US Citizenship and clearance eligibility is required.
Exposure to Microsoft Project.
Experience with basic software development or coding using Visual Basic for Applications.
Interest in aviation or advanced technologies.
Security Clearance Requirements:
No clearance required to start.
Secret clearance will be required for more relevant developmental assignments.
Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $43,100-$38,002. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
