Program Management Specialist

KBR is seeking a Program Management Specialist to join our team. This position supports the NAVAIR PMA-231 Advanced Hawkeye Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231). E-2/C-2 Airborne Command and Control Systems Program Office (PMA-231) is responsible for providing the E-2C Hawkeye, E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Hawkeye 2000 and the C-2A Greyhound fleet with acquisition strategy, logistics and sustainment solutions in support of the warfighter's mission.

The successful candidate will team up with other professionals in providing support services for program management, acquisition, engineering, integration, and sustainment planning. Direct support for Global Lightning, NIFC21, CEA3, and E2IAB. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required. The anticipated travel requirement will be less than 20%.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct business management operations support to Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and routinely interface with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads.

  • Support the development of program acquisition strategies. Prepare documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Statement of Work (SOW), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), funding documents and Memorandum of Agreements.

  • Ensure acquisition strategies and plans are executed within schedule constraints to support acquisition decisions.

  • Compiles and reviews budgets against actual performance. Previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and other data sources to control budgets.

  • Develop schedule plans to meet program requirements.

  • Respond to and execute data drills, analyze data, prepare program briefs, and program status reports.

  • Analyze business or operating procedures to devise the most efficient method to accomplish work.

  • Participate in business and technical methodologies to provide support of hardware, software and service acquisition and life cycle management.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling 2 to 4 years.

  • Demonstrated ability to track action items, develop metrics, develop, and track risk mitigation plans, and develop and track plans of actions and milestones is required.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

  • Active Top Secret security clearance is required.

  • Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A current Secret Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years is required.
