BAE Systems Materials Supervisor in Lexington Park, Maryland

Job Description

The Materials Supervisor is a key position for our material team. In conjunction with the senior material manager, they will be responsible for identifying, defining and leading opportunities to improve operational effectiveness while striving to achieve the expectations of our government customer and program teams.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and resourceful person who will further our success. The successful candidate plans their work schedule to meet project timelines, keep multiple records, be self-motivated and detail oriented, maintain a professional presence and take ownership of tasks and plans. Additionally, they are responsible for training and development of the team with a drive to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma and 7 years of related experience OR Associate/Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of related experience

Ability to identify and resolve conflict

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attentive to detail

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Familiarity with SCMS databases

Familiarity with DPAS databases

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $78760 - $133870

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
