Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, designing, and managing process improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of client resources. In addition, you will analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements, while collecting and analyzing process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced costs. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work closely with internal resources to assess critical business processes, tools, and resources to identify and prioritize process improvement.

Job Functions include:

· Work collaboratively with teams to identify and implement enhancements to existing policies, procedures, instructions, systems, etc. that improve operational discipline.

· Analyze and identify current process gaps using observations, data collection, data analysis, process ideologies and communication with management and frontline staff.

· Facilitate and perform the testing and roll-out of updated features and functions for applications.

· Correlates data to find actionable results.

· Measure the effectiveness of current state of processes, systems, etc. as well as benefits gained through implemented enhancements.

· Lead cross functional teams on complex process improvement engagements.

· Identity issues, root causes, strategies for improvement and development of implementation and sustainment plans.

· Develop a summary of findings, recommendations, and action plans for management to review and approve.

· Effectively apply various continuous improvement tools and operating discipline to drive assigned initiatives to positive outcomes.

· Effectively manage assigned process improvement initiatives; scope, resources, schedules, implementation and measurables.

· Develop and maintain tools, applications, and systems critical to the process improvement initiatives.

· Develop tools and leverage technology to share relevant information with all stakeholders so business units can learn from process defects, reduce likelihood of future reoccurrence, and improve the mindset of personnel involved in the process.

· Develop action plans and processes, in coordination with key stakeholders and subject matter experts, for integrating activities and optimizing department resources to meet major goals and objectives.

Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

· Continuous Improvement certification (Six Sigma, LEAN or similar), highly desired.

· Demonstrated aptitude and curiosity for learning and implementing new tools and technology.

· Ability to create, manage, and maintain Microsoft Access Databases, Microsoft Excel databases and associated user interfaces (visual basic, SQL or similar programming ability) is highly desired.

· Expertise and working knowledge of process improvement methods, internal controls implementation, change management leadership, and root cause analysis techniques.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft office automation applications: Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, and PowerApps, and data modeling is highly desired.

· Working knowledge of IT Change Management processes.

· Self-motivated and goal oriented; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to learn about and integrate new process and technologies while, when applicable, breaking old paradigms and barriers.

· Strong facilitation, and communication skills (including written, oral, and public speaking) required.

· Demonstrated strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

· Ability to influence without direct authority.

· Ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders at all levels of authority.

Required:

· A Bachelors’ degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent work experience.

· Minimum of 8 years experience

· Hold a valid motor vehicle license.

· This is a hybrid role.  The first three months are fulltime in the Hartford, CT office.

Salary Range:

$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
