This role will be held accountable for establishing strong credibility and collaboration with our physicians, customers, department leadership, affiliated organizations and I.T. staff members. This is a highly matrixed organization which requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills, ability to work in large multi-disciplinary teams through significant amount of varied work assignments. The successful Virtualization Engineer II will provide tier 2 support of all IT incidents and requests for UK Healthcare Citrix environment. Primary duties include support of NetScaler systems, and Virtual Applications and Desktops; documentation; problem analysis; design, configuration and project task fulfillment.Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesThe ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking; analytical and qualitative research skills; be well organized; exceptional communication skills (written & verbal); enjoy working independently as well as closely with their co-workers in a supportive team environment; Microsoft Project and project server application knowledge; above average customer service skills; strong ability to engage and motivate others and develop staff; and active listening skills.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
