Actalent Software Developer in Lexington, Kentucky

Description:

The Software Developer is responsible for the implementation and design of the user interfaces of web-based and desktop applications, along with backend services and databases. This will include the creation of unit and integration tests to meet clients coverage objectives.

  • Full-stack development of new products.

  • Full-stack maintenance development of existing products.

  • Weekly alignment meetings.

  • Work with team leads and product managers to plan and assign work items.

  • Work with the technical support team when troubleshooting issues on released software.

  • Work with other software and firmware teams on cross-functional and cross-team products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree Computer Science or as an Electrical Engineer, or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development & design.

  • Understanding of a multi-tiered architecture:

  • Visual Studio 2022 IDE

  • C#, VB.NET

  • Desktop development using WPF

  • ASP.Net MVC, HTML, CSS3, Java script, JSON, XML

  • Microsoft SQL Server, Stored Procedures.

  • Entity Framework

  • ASP.NET Web API

  • .NET Framework 4.x

  • .NET 7 and .NET 6
