Mailroom Machine Operator

Position is Onsite in Lexington, KY

2nd Shift Position

Pay is $15.00 per hour

 We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Lexington, KY area. The successful candidate will have experience working in a mailroom, post office, transactional print, or fulfillment environment. As machine operator, you will be responsible for operating the Kern 3600 machine, which is used for high-volume printing, inserting, and mailing.     

Responsibilities:

Operate the Kern 3600 machine efficiently and effectively to meet production goals

Ensure the quality of output is maintained at a high standard

Load materials onto the machine, adjust settings and troubleshoot issues as required

Create job requisition reports while working

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the machine

Follow safety procedures and guidelines while operating the machine

Lift up to 40 pounds of materials

Work overtime as required

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

3 months to 1 year experience working in a similar environment

Basic computer skills

Good organizational skills

Attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

The pay for this role is ($26.600 - $33,250).
