Schneider Electric USA, Inc Inventory and Flow Supervisor in Lexington, Kentucky

The Schneider Electric Lexington Kentucky plant has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Inventory and Flows Supervisor. You will be primarily accountable for leading and mentoring the material buyers and planners while effectively managing the purchase order portfolio, the stocking discrepancies, and the backorder log within the Lexington plant.

What will you do?
Lead and mentor the buyers and planners on key metrics and performance goals as needed
Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
Manage team according to Schneider Production System and Short Interval Management rules and cycle event of the plant.
Define and update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level.
Guarantee the operational update of the supply chain planning parameters (Lead Time, Quantity, Stocking.
Manage the purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies, and perform adjustments.
Be the first level of escalation for the Customer Claim Process and supplier escalation.
Be the first level of escalation for the invoice dispute.
Supervise the efficiency of Shortages & Back Order Log management for upstream & downstream flows.
Supervise stock levels and coverage according to service level for team.

Who will you report to? Supply Chain Planning Manager.

What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelor's degree in in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is required.
1-3 years' experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
Experience with Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP).
Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
Effective communication, facilitation, and strong negotiation skills.
Problem-solving skills and strong project management skills are required.
Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills.
Strong relationship and collaborative management skills.
Proficient with using computers and advanced knowledge with applications (access, excel)Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
